VISA

Foreign nationals having an ordinary or official passport, wanting to enter Cote D’Ivoire, need to have a biometric visa.

Requesting a biometric visa can either be done at the Ivorian Embassy of the corresponding country or through the internet via the following website: www.snedai.ci  (after registration and online payment of fees, a biometric e-visa is issued upon arrival at the Abidjan airport).

All foreigners must be able to present upon request of forces of law and order, a valid visa or an Ivorian residence permit*.

Vaccination

Yellow fever

Yellow fever vaccination is compulsory for any visitors to be granted entrance to the country. Vaccination card verification is done upon arrival in Cote D’Ivoire.

Ask a doctor or international vaccination centre for advice.

Malaria

Côte d’Ivoire is ranked zone 3 for the risk of malaria. Before departure, consult a doctor or the Vaccination Center for Tropical Diseases.

Preventive prophylaxis is recommended for short stays in Côte d’Ivoire.

In any case, during your stay in Côte d’Ivoire personal protection against mosquito bites is strongly recommended (repellents, diffusers, mosquito nets, …).
