Climate change might submerge between 35 and 122 million more people into extreme poverty by 2030.
“In order to exterminate hunger and poverty by 2030, while tackling the threat of climate change, a profound transformation of the agricultural and dietary system will be nessasry all over the world”. This is the pressing message issued by the United Nations Organisation for food and agriculture (FAO), in 2016 edition of its report on the global food and agriculture situation, which was made public on Monday 17th of October.
